BIOTIC CONDITIONS

Rodents abundance evaluation:

average

Breeding conditions:

Three nests of Peregrine Falcons were found at 3 km of the rocky shore of the Kolyma River near mouth of the Kuropatoch'ya River. We found 3 pairs of fledglings and 1 downy chick. An unusually high number of chicks and nests was, probably, related to warm weather and high density of waders.
